Default GUI: Modify GlobalVariable

Hi,

Is there a way to modify a GlobalVariable with a Graphical User Interface? I haven't been able to access a GlobalVariable since GlobalVariables are not stored in the tree. I can't use GlobalTables instead of GlobalVariables, because the stored data is string.

Thanks!

By the way, you can enter string data into cells in a global table. In the table view, use the right-click menu option Assign String Data. Then use gettablestr() and settablestr() instead of gettablenum() and settablenum().
