Default The raw material system of a steel mill-my case

10 million tons steel project, including: the raw material plant, input system, output system, sinter, coke, pellet, screening to the blast furnace, roasting the lime, steel-making routing, etc. After the designing, we need to use quantitative evaluation methods to evaluate the whole system. Such as what is the real productivity? Where is the bottleneck of the processes? Can we optimize it? Which is the best production scheduling scheme?

Profits of the simulation:
We can find all the answers of those questions through simulation. After optimization, we reduce the belt conveyer by 2.5 kilometers; lessen the ground by 25 thousands square kilometers; save the project investment by 30 million. Besides, the simulation can guide the production, get all kinds of information during the manufacture and operation in advance.
