This model follows the assembly of a DVD player. Data is drawn from an Excel spread sheet for number of parts to add at each station and process times. The model begins with a circuit board that goes through multiple tests and stations. The model ends with the completed DVD player being loaded into a box and placed on a cart. The model was built on top of an actual imported layout of the plant.
This is a Flexsim v4.32 model with all media contained within the same directory as the model; and can therefore, be saved to any directory on your computer.

I'm mechanical designer and I find the flexsim around 10 years ago (Ver#4 I think!) after the years One company ask us about the simulation of his product line (Mosaic producer) and I say him to let me to evaluate the solutions possible! So I back to my mind and find the flexsim again, and know I've lot of question here? Can you please help me?
The questions are:
1. Do you think the flexsim is good choice for that? (I do some tests with technomatix_ Siemens, but the flexsim has interactive GUI & Animations and dashboard! And it seen easy to learn!) Can you please give your idea about that?
2. Where I must find the libraries that contain the mosaic companies' production line elements? (Such as The presses, Burners, containers...) and if I must design them at Cad systems such as solid work or Catia, The demo version that I try that (Ver# 7) has small library and I can't find any way to add some elements on it! What about the full version? How I can import them to Flexsim and reconfigure it to assign the input/ output definitions?
3. As I Sayed I'm mechanical designer, nor Industrial engineer or factory designer! But I strongly interested to this term!! And I really want to get skilled at designing of factory layout, and too much more to simulation of the process like as the Flexsim can do that! So what is your Idea about the learnings and training to learn the basics until that I'll be an expert,
